Congratulations on being recognised as a leader in Tasmanian tourism

Winning an award is more than a moment of celebration, it’s an opportunity to showcase your success, inspire your team, and promote your business to a wider audience. Here are some simple, effective ways to make the most of your achievement:

Update your online presence

  •  ATDW Profile: Add your award recognition to your Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) profile. This ensures your success is visible across all the platforms that draw from ATDW.

  • Website: Create a news post or banner celebrating your win on your own website. Include the award logo and link back to ECTT Industry Recognition Awards winners, or another appropriate award site.

  • Social Media: Share posts on your business channels. Tag East Coast Tasmania Tourism @eastcoasttasmania and use hashtags like #eastcoasttasmania so we can help amplify your story.

Share the news in everyday communication

  • Email Signature: Add “Proud recipient of the ECTT Industry Recognition Award for [Category], 2025” or relevant industry award to your signature line.

  • Newsletters: Announce your award in your customer and stakeholder updates. Include images, a short story about what the award means to you, and why your visitors benefit.

  • Media Release: Consider a short press release to your local newspaper or community newsletter.

Celebrate with the community

  • Industry Groups: Post about your success in our operator group East Coast Shines

  • Networking Events: Mention your award in conversations at ECTT Connect sessions, Tasmanian Tourism Showcase, or other industry gatherings. It positions you as a leader in your field.

  • Team Recognition: Celebrate internally. Share the news with staff, volunteers, and partners who helped make it possible.

Leverage the award in marketing

  • Promotional Material: Add the award logo to brochures, signage, or tour collateral.

  • Booking Platforms: Update your listings (e.g., TripAdvisor, Booking.com) to include your award achievement.

  • Visitor Engagement: Highlight your award during guest interactions as it reinforces quality and trust.

Keep building your story

  • Winning is a starting point, not the end. Think about how you can use this recognition to grow:

  • Share your journey in sustainability, innovation, accessibility, or guest love.

  • Offer to speak at industry events or panels.

  • Enter the Tasmanian Tourism Awards (more info here) to take your recognition to the next level.

Awards celebrate your contribution to making the East Coast a world-class destination. By sharing your success widely, you not only boost your own profile,  you also lift the profile of our entire region. So, be proud, tell your story and let your visitors and peers know that you’re leading the way.
